Complete a code lab

Who can do this

• ✕ Can'tMasterclass studentMasterclass classes have no code labs.

Steps

1. Open the lesson’s Code Lab step.
2. If you see This lab is currently locked, click Unlock to set up your workspace.
3. Read the instructions, then edit the files in the editor. Files marked read-only can’t be changed.
4. Click Run and Save to run your code. The results show under Test Cases and Console.
5. Fix your code and run it again until it works.
6. Click Next Lab to move to the next lab in the step. The step completes when every lab in it is completed.

Tools in the editor

• Save keeps your code without running it.
• Copy Code, the theme switch and full screen are in the toolbar.
• Reset puts the lab back to how it started. Everything you changed is lost, so the app asks you to confirm.
