Why can’t I start my exam?

Who does it instead: If you meet every condition and still can’t start, or the exam closed before you could take it, ask your trainer or your TA (organizer). They can open it for you.
Check these four conditions. The exam page’s Action Required notes tell you which one is missing.

| You finished the exam’s lesson. | You must complete lesson … before continuing this exam. | Click Back to your progress and finish it. |
| You passed at least 60% of the tasks up to that lesson. | You must pass at least X/Y tasks before continuing this exam. | Resubmit failed tasks. Pending ones only count once they’re graded Passed. |
| You have an attempt left. You get 3. | Exam retake limit reached | Ask your trainer or TA (organizer). |
Still stuck?
- Waiting for task grades? Tasks marked Pending don’t count yet. Ask your trainer when they’ll be graded.
- Start Exam is greyed out with no message? This can happen in courses where no lesson before the exam has a task. Tell your TA (organizer).
- The exam closed before you took it? Your trainer, TA (organizer) or the DICHI operations team can open it for you again.
