Mark your attendance

Who can do this

  • CanInteractive-course studentOnly with the session’s attendance link, up to 60 minutes after the start.
  • CanMasterclass studentOnly with the session’s attendance link, up to 60 minutes after the start.

You mark attendance with the attendance link for the session. Your trainer or TA (organizer) makes it and shares it with the class.

In DICHI LPMS (interactive)

  1. Open the attendance link. If you’re not signed in, sign in and you’re brought back.
  2. The page shows the session name and your current attendance.
  3. Click Attend Session.
  4. You see Session attended successfully and go back to your course.

In DICHI Learn (masterclass)

  1. Open the attendance link. If you’re not signed in, sign in and you’re brought back.
  2. On Attend a Session, check the session name and time. Your attendance shows Pending.
  3. Click Click here to attend.
  4. Read the result:
    • You’re checked in: you’re Present.
    • Marked as tardy: you’re Tardy.
    • You’re excused: staff already marked you Excused.
    • Marked absent: if that looks wrong, contact your TA (organizer).
  5. Click Go to Session to see the session’s details.

When it counts

You confirm…You get
Before the start, or up to 15 minutes after itPresent
15 to 60 minutes after the startTardy
More than 60 minutes after the start, or after the session endsNothing: Attendance window has closed or Session has ended

If you never open the link, your attendance turns Absent once the window closes. What each status earns is in How you earn DCoins and Leaderboard & merit points.

The button in your session list doesn’t record attendance

The attend button in My Sessions (DICHI LPMS) or on a session’s details page (DICHI Learn) only reminds you to use the attendance link. Only the link marks you present.

If it goes wrong

  • Attendance window has closed or Session has ended: it’s too late to mark it yourself. Ask your trainer or TA (organizer).
  • Attendance status already set by admin: staff already set your attendance. Ask your TA (organizer) if it’s wrong.
  • You are not enrolled in this session or This is not your session!: the link is for a class you’re not in, or your place in the class isn’t active. Ask your TA (organizer).
  • Attendance not found: you probably joined the class after the link was made. Ask your trainer or TA to make the link again, then open the new one.
  • Invalid uuid: the link is broken or incomplete. Ask for it again.

Your location isn’t checked, but marking attendance for a class you’re not in is never possible.
